Dit RacingLine Olie Catch Can systeem voor de 2.0 TFSI-motoren uit het MQB-platform, zorgt ervoor dat er geen olie- en waterdampen in het inlaattraject van de auto komen. Deze kit zorgt voor een perfect oliemanagement, ook onder extreme condities. Door het ontwerp wordt olie altijd terug richting het carter gestuurd en worden de dampen weggehouden bij de inlaat. Dit is vooral gewenst bij circuitgebruik, maar ook bij normaal straatgebruik levert dit een bevordering voor de levensduur van de motor op.

De kit is onder andere geschikt voor de VW Golf 5 GTI, VW Golf 6 R, VW Scirocco, VW polo 6R/6C WRC en Audi A3 8P/TT, Seat Leon .

De olie- en waterdampen worden opgevangen in een aluminium tank, die op de motorsteun gemonteerd wordt.

Enkele belangrijke kenmerken:

Houdt het inlaattraject en de intercooler schoon
Voorkomt het verbranden van olie bij hoge G-krachten
Vervaardigd uit hoogwaardig, CNC-bewerkt aluminium
Bewezen in de autosport (wordt gebruikt bij diverse VW race cups)
Gevlochten olieleidingen met swivel aansluitingen

Let op:

Om deze catch can set te kunnen monteren, dient de originele koolstoffilter (carbon canister) te worden verwijderd. Daarnaast zal de originele motorafdekkap niet langer meer gebruikt kunnen worden wanneer de catch can is geïnstalleerd. Zorg er daarom voor dat je cold air intake al hebt gemonteerd.
